scarry. its my 1st chinese test 2mr! hmmm. havent really studied finish.. so worrying. every1 is juz stressing each other out. he who stresses others wins hahaha... every1 has been juz clutching the stack of notes & book everywhere they went. and i pon my 1st lecture (movie-lecture) today juz 2 finish studying. yea n im wasting time here. k. no tv today. absolutely none tonight. no 7pm, 9pm, 10pm show. ohyes. and our chinese books & notes came up to a freaky 35 bucks! omg. the airfare for our book cost juz as much as the books itself. but the bulk came from the notes. but anw 35 still pale in comparison to the biomed books.

very lack of sleep these days. almost falling asleep every single lecture. the 1st thing i get home 2mr afternoon would be to catch up on my sleep!! and then start reading biomed stuffs.. which i've badly neglected for the past few weeks.

ohya. so sad. xu wei lun passed on. i'm still hearing her news everyday. even during chinese lesson our teacher talked about her.. how impressive.. he has cable tv in his executive hostel!!! oh but the farnie thing was.. he (middle age guy) even watched entertainment news? hahahas. we thot he only watch national geographic cuz hes so philosophical. aniwae tts not the point.. he mentioned about her case which was partly relavent to wad we were learning.

theres this saying.. 乐而不淫， 哀而不伤. i kindof learn lots of things from his lessons no matter how boring it can get sometimes. its interesting.. and makes u think a lot about life. and a lot about death. and seriously i think i still prefer asian teachers haha.

back to studying. should be optimistic about it.. =DDDDDD

i mite not be able to do this week's tutorials =(( how bad can this be. im still struggling to memorise everything that i need to prepare for this thur's test. why must i be memorising whats the biggest dictionary, whats the oldest dictionary, wads the different types of dictionaries, who researched on dictionaries etc. helpppp!! who can save me! some1 pls give me more brain space.

something happier to note.. went back to aj on friday with 2 xpys for mr tan's farewell. saw pretty lots of pple whom i havent met 4 a very long time..like chewy whom i havent met for months since the last time ruaners went to mind's cafe.. and yea shes my neighbour somemore. pity becca issn't there. ohyes.. and lots of ba gua as usual haha.

and im off to my 540說文解字部首（小篆） =(((

meeting sx & dawn 2mr =DDDDD i cant believe im taking such a break when my test is next week! but its quite nice to juz relax for a few hrs =)

the coffeine is wearing off in the liver... im falling asleep soon. today was pure chinese lesson. yet another draining day.

aniwae, thanks to huimin's mom, we i almost dont have to travel long distances everyday. if i end late i'll be following sis home but if sis's not ard or i end early, i could take her car with the others to marsiling which is much nearer.. and today i got a ride straight up to northland when they went to fetch her youngest sis.

great great. i've been watching too much tv!! 7pm, 9pm, 10pm... sometimes 8pm as well. gosh. i could have used the time to study biomed or chinese instead. like what im doing rite now... wasting my time away when i could do my lab report. call me a slacker. yes. i m right now.

test next week! waste no time. ohs and today i learnt from my senior that our batch learn so much extra more stuffs than they did for ancient chinese last yr... grrrr. i shouldn't use the word learn.. it should be memorise. soooo irritating. they shouldn't have sent a different teacher to teach us this year. but this teacher is not too bad also. poor thing he cant go home during cny.

brain drained after everyday's classes. morale very low. i haf yet to take my coffee since school started. maybe i should go get my much needed coffee b4 lessons from now on. really cant tahan.

2 lab reports by next week. omg. plus a test. i'm about to faint.

havent really haf proper lunch since school started.. i think i ate a proper meal in school for only 2 times this year. our break time juz sark.

the little boy @ home is 1 emotional wreck.

its a bit early this time but i'm going to start up my engine 2 mug again. so shall not be on msn unless necessary.

starting to feel stressed again. i think my frens are super pple.. they take the memorising of 540 olden words and their meanings as nothing. as if its so easily accomplished. and thats only a quater of what we'll have to memorise for our upcoming test 1 week later.=xxxxxxxx i really hate memorising things that i dont understand.

aniwae, some1 was saying.. do u noe why it has been raining these few weeks? ... cuz rain's coming. and it came out from the most non-crappy person in my clique.

okok. back to tutorials tonight. no more internet!!

i feel so stupid today. went 2 popular and they charged me an extra 40cents for the plastic covers i bought.. then when i reached home i realise that the plastic covers dont fit my textbooks =( too lazy to go ask them back for 40cents juz now.. and now i'll haf to make another trip to change the size.. or maybe i should juz 4get it and get new ones. wad a waste.

and finally got my texts yesterday. pain on the pocket, pain in the heart. 2 make it worst i bent the cover of my expensive book. painnnnn. ouchh.

and in 2 weeks time i'll haf my 1st test =((

overall. it was quite a horrible week. oh yes. and i got overcharged for the binding of my notes. yyyy pple like to cheat my money.

i realised. my words are always doubted. by lots of pple. but i usually (not always) have the last laugh.

i'm having probs recognising chinese characters. and its so super troublesome to srch the dictionary when i dont have the pinyin. prob is even if i use my tablet to write it down in words it'll tell me wad word is tt =S is there a electronic dictionary like the english 1, where u juz need to scan in the words and they'll give u the meaning and stuff? i dont ask for a lot. 1 that has 3000 characters stored in it would be good enuff =p

after 1 week of intensive chinese lang lecture.. i think i kindof learn lots of things. but seriously if not for all that nonsense trouble tt pple went thru in the past, today we wont have to learn so many complicated things. eg, the emperor's name has to be avoided in all writings.. as long as it appears in some part of the character, it is changed to another word altogether.. and some more highly educated pple will purposely change the characters of the words so that the 'lowly' pple cant read or recognise them to show off their superiority etc. cause us so much pain today. lol.

aniwae the chinese teacher has lessen down his propaganda stuffs a bit haha. but its getting difficult to study and memorise more and more. =x

i'm about to fall asleep here as i wait for my sis to knock off. the 5 hr chinese lecture really knocked me out.

our tcm texts finally got 'freed' from the post office. and. hell lot to memorise. its really 背死书.

lab reports starts 2mr. only 1 week's grace =x

so tired. i wanna fall on my bed and sleep.

these days since school started i feel so guilty the moment i'm not reading my notes or relaxing doing nothing when i reach home. i seriously need to catch up in my readings. and luckily i've completed next week's tuts so a load is off my mind. but i have yet to go thru the lab protocols. meaning lab reports are starting next week as well. next week's time table shall be hell. full blast =(

its kindof cold these days. even my fingers have turned cold now. and finally i'm craving for.... HOT milo! hahaha.. hot milo is not too bad during cold days. but i still lurve milo bing.

great. getting new texts. i shall be 150+ poorer by next week when all the books arrive. but getting new texts kindof excites me hahahas. becuz i havent owned a new 1 in 2 years.

aniwae, this week have been ok so far. its only the chinese tts disturbing. bio seems to be on the track now.. at least the '????' dont pop up in my head as much as it did last sem.

and finally i shall go pao mei lu before i start reading my notes =D.

happy - settled my elective. got the mcq 1s as wished. thanks to dr sze who agreed to accept us in less than a minute.. after long hrs of failed pleading with the stupid admin staff frm our school.

headache - cant get any cheaper 2nd hand books or even 2nd hand books. the seniors refuse to give it up!! ouch.

sad - pocket hurts.

stressed - 4 stacks of notes, 1 thick book to memorise for ancient chinese module.

all of a sudden i think biomed is so much easier to study than tcm. the chinese sarks big time. not only we have to know modern words, we need to know olden words (fan ti) and also need to learn the ancient words!! like how the characters were derived frm all tt rocks, shells ecetera.

omg. dropped this laptop on my way to leeweenam lib juz now.. ouch. hurts more than my scratches do. aniwae, printing notes in the big lib is scary for the 1st time. its actually a lot more efficient than printing in sbs since we can choose the printer which is 'free-er'. and the paper quality is better too. but its so freaking far from school. i still miss the old sbs resource room.. where we can juz openly eat inside though its not allowed haha. wonder when will they open up the temperory resource room if not it'll b so troublesome to travel all the way to the library.

aniwae, 1 of the chinese exam has been brought forward to after the mid-term break! tts good news.. so i'll have to sit for lesser papers at the end of the semester. but then again i shall have to start mugging really soon.. since i'll have 3 test papers for this sub this term.. average 1 per fortnight.. averaging out, the 1st test should start next week already. =x

have lots of time up till 3.30 lecture later.

and 3 more add/drop period before ours.. theres only 100 vacancies left!!!

lots of memorising to be done. 1st chinese lesson after abt 3 years. my gawd. 2 thick books, thick stack of notes. 5hrs of chinese lesson today. i dunnoe wad i've learnt in tt laoshi's lesson. he talks about lots of stuffs but very little on the subject itself. at first he was quite interesting.. but the moment he went on to talk (talk sounds too nice) bout china, beijing... and his pro-communism thinkings it was getting boring.. and wait he brought up the japanese invasion as well. oh and another thing. i think singapore is damn famous for canning. he thinks that spitting on public grounds can cause a canning sentence as well.

aniwae he did make some sense though. im forseeing a hard time keeping awake in his future classes.

went back to sch this morning with a surprise this morning cuz every1 in my clique but 1 of them cut their hair! and my grades are... average. excluding electives, my cores are nt up to standard.

majority of my coursemates didn't get allocated any electives at all. tts so maddening. i think they gave us last priority cuz our AUs definitely overshot a lot with cores alone. haiz. and the easy electives are taken up =(( and pian pian our add/drop period is the last period of all!! eeeks. foul!

bad. not allocated any of the electives! all 6 of us. we shall have to be prepared to play fastest fingers first. but we'll be slowed by 1 day =(( i hope the snrs dont take up all that pathetic 200 places left for our 2nd choice. this is really bad. cant find ani other easier electives that still have vacancies and which suit our horrid time table.

and no deletions of classes in the horrible time table. suffocating.

*wails* school is starting in another 3 days time! its gonna be another stressful semester. and im gg to start this 'i feel like giving up' kind of feeling soon. but b4 sch starts im already starting to feel the stress level gg up.

thinking if i should really get textbooks for the biomed mods. a new 1 mite juz cost me 90 plus since no1 wants to sell ani 2nd hand books. and even if there is.. its limited. but it could be a waste if the notes are enuff. but again. exams always asks qns frm textbooks and not the notes. shit.

and the sch admin still have yet to change the timetable on the sch website to sem 2's. this is irritating. i wish they could like cancel some of the labs etc. and 1 more thing about sch stuff.. damn. 50% chance of getting our 1st choice of elective!! ~1200 pple are snatching for 600 places.. and even for the 2nd choice elective the waitlist is overflowing. nooooooo. i want the mcq type of elective again!! hahahaha.

aniwae, next monday we shall be starting on our very first chinese mod. its damn suxy. im not looking forward to it. its juz like chinese literature except it focuses on chimed. and goodness sake. this mod will end at mid-term. and our exam for this mod is after both terms =((( they said they would push the exam for this mod to mid term!! but its not the case. so we'll probably juz 4get everything tt we learn 4 this mod.. and struggle to complete yet another chi mod when the 2nd term starts. yikes.

aniwae, went out with ruoting on thurs. yups. some1 i havent seen in real person for 7 years. somehow i cant really seem to remember how she was like in the past. but aniwae we really slacked our way thru the day. thx goodness her sch havent started as well. thus we could meet up! muahahaha. and she has finally quit des. =p the last survivor. frm our class at least.

juz realised tt when sch starts next week... theres still lots of very nice shows to watch on tv. damn. do i really have to give up my entertainment time?
